The team was professional, efficient, and truly went above and beyond to take care of my families belongings as if they were their own. Every item was handled with care; nothing was rushed or careless. Their kindness, attention to detail, and respect for our home and items really stood out. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for hardworking movers!

Moved long distance to NC. The entire process was very smooth from start to finish. The weather was frigid with below 20 degree wind chill. Ibrahim & Freddie were amazing. Respectful of us and our property. Everything arrived safely and nothing was damaged in the move. Not even a mark on my walls. Highly recommend Athens Moving Experts — we had a fantastic experience from start to finish for our move from NC to VA. Ibrahim, Johnny, and Ben are rockstars, and they made what is usually an incredibly stressful experience smooth, organized, and easy. They’re the kind of professionals you want when you move. The team loaded up our belongings quickly but carefully, unloaded flawlessly, and they helped us get so much set up and done in record timing (from unpacking into the right spots in the house to assembling furniture). Feels like we hit the easy button on the moving process. We will definitely recommend them to everyone we know and can’t thank them enough!

I recently used Athens Moving Experts for a last-minute pickup after a long drive from North Carolina to New York to Maryland, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Ibrahim and Freddie were outstanding—professional, careful, and efficient. They treated my coffee table with exceptional care, making sure every inch was protected and leaving no detail overlooked. Athens is amazing and I highly recommend them for your next move. The receptionist, Matthew, did a great job gathering info about my needs and informing me of the process. I was moving a full living room set, Queen bedroom set, several other random pieces of furniture, and about 10 boxed from an apartment to a 10x10 storage space. My movers, Zak, Johny, and Dannie, were very professional, worked very effectively as a team, and made quick work of my move. Zak wrapped all of my furniture in plastic to keep it clean and safe during the trip and in storage, while Johny and Dannie moved everything out to the truck. I did not think all of my items would fit in the unit but Zak did a wonderful job taking full advantage of the small space (I’ll attach a photo, it was wild). With the 35 minute drive time between places, they completed my move in 2.33 hours. The total was just under 500$, which is a steal when you consider the 26’ truck, supplies, labor, and expertise. 10/10 company and employees.
